The upcoming Hangzhou International Jewellery and Gem Fair will be a place for fine jewellery, loose gemstones and other related products to be showcased at Zhejiang World Trade International Exhibition Center from November 6 to 9 this year. The mega event will also have pavillions from Korea and Taiwan as well as the Jewellery Jade Industry Association of Zhejiang. It will also feature a designers’ avenue and a nature’s stone section besides having a jade-carving and a jewellery design competition.

As per the  statistical information from Zhejiang’s official website, the Zhejiang consumer market in 2014 has gained a stable growth rate and the retail volume of jewellery products has reached RMB 18.77 billion, an increase of 5.1 percent compared to the previous year. The Jiangzhe Region is a well-off region in eastern China, with an increase in newly affluent citizens.

The enhanced recognition of jewellery consumption and the diversity of needs on jewellery products have created significant opportunities for the jewellery market. Organised by UBM Asia, the Hangzhou International Jewellery and Gem Fair is dedicated to creating business opportunities for Jewellery enterprises who are interested in developing the Zhejiang market.
