Drop Earrings by Sanskriti Jewels

Known for jewellery pieces that are steeped in tradition yet with a touch of modernity, Sanskriti Jewels had such beautiful pieces of jewellery on display at Couture India. But what struck us the most were these unique earrings crafted with Pink Calcite and Angel Calcite – both these stones were merged together and then the pink flower with white accents was carved out of the merged stone. The pink flower has golden and freshwater pearl drops below, with diamond overlay around the edges. The whole piece is interwoven with leaves of both gold and diamonds.

Butterfly Ring by Awesome Sparklers by Preeti Bhatia

Preeti’s designs are synonymous to innovation and her jewellery pieces were all a testament to that. This multipurpose, butterfly ring that can also be worn as a pendant is made out of rubies and diamonds with a chocolate brown Tahitian pearl centre. This piece takes the design sensibility of a cocktail ring to a whole new level.

‘Soutoir’ Necklace by Exquisite Fine Jewels

Anju Jain is known for her liberal use of gemstones and the unabashed smattering of varied colours is what makes her creations special. This glamorous piece here with a huge emerald cabochon centre is surrounded by playful Australian opals and uneven rose cut chrysoprase, all set in 18 K gold. Handcrafted to perfection, this beautiful necklace that almost resembles the changing contour of the Mediterranean Sea can be paired with same ease with Indian as well as western.

The Luminous Dome by Kosha Fine Jewels

A specialist in exquisite diamond jewellery, Kosha Fine Jewels had an array of beautiful diamond jewellery. But what caught our attention is this splendid, architectural piece, christened as ‘The Luminous Dome.’ Inspired by the ubiquitous dome, the ring is a mixture of two different settings – pavé and prong. Set in 18 K yellow and white gold finish, this radiant ring has 312 diamonds, weighing 3.15 carats.

Layered Statement Necklace by Jewels of Jaipur

True to its name, Jewels of Jaipur celebrates the rich heritage of Jaipur and its craftsmanship. This alluring necklace of pearl strands adjoined with uncut diamonds bears a big tear shaped tanzanite centre with a Meenakari pendant studded with polki diamonds. This exquisite piece is a reflection of the painstaking, intricate work that has a history of over hundreds of years in Jaipur.

Tassel Earrings by Rawat Jewels

Again an expert in quintessential Jaipurjewellery, Rawat Jewels has been a master of Jadau, Kundan Meena, fusion jewelley, pure diamond jewellery and beaded jewellery for over 2 centuries now. This beaded tassel earrings is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity and has diamond polki, ruby beads and south sea pearl drops. All the stones are beautifully bound together in 18 K gold.

Mesh Necklace by Neetti

This enchanting necklace by Neetti was specially created for Couture India– the delicate mesh is completely handcrafted in 18 K gold and nestles a pair of birds on the side with a big emerald centre stone. The pendent rests on a graceful string of pearls only to create a stunning piece of jewellery.

Tassel Necklace by Wondercuts

Wondercuts is known for its use of finest diamonds in latest designs. We saw a lot of delicate pieces that bore diamonds and other coloured gemstones. This delicate tassel necklace with a large diamond pendant and an emerald centre with pretty tassels made of emerald beads was particularly our favourite for its sheer aesthetic brilliance.

Pride of Peacock Cuff by Anand Shah

The maestro of jewellery designing, Anand Shah is known for his eccentric albeit beautiful jewellery. This peacock bangle crafted in fine gold with blue stones is a reflection of Anand Shah’s spell binding creativity. The Pride of Peacock is a bewitching piece for women who refuse to be ordinary. The delicate cluster of leaves dangling with the blue stones enhances the charm of the cuff.

Shreenath Ji Necklace by Shree Jee Jewellers

Yet another flag bearer of authentic Jaipur jewellery, Shree Jee Jewellers is known for its elaborate diamond, polki and gold jewellery. We saw plenty of polki designs in bangles, earrings and necklaces but we found this Shreenath Ji Necklace absolutely fascinating. Using the traditional ‘Katla’ technique, the Shreenath Ji pendant is surrounded with polkis, juxtaposed with two more ‘matka’ shaped pendants also encrusted with polkis and emerald at the centre. The pendants are all strung together with seed pearls forming a captivating design by itself and joined by an adjustable silk cord.

Garden of Eden Set by Dwarakadas Chandmul Jewellers

This statement set with a serpentine quality from none other than Dwarakadas caught our attention for its seamless blend of diamonds along with other precious colour stones. Pleasingly lustrous with real gemstones, this set celebrates colour in its purest form taking inspiration from the rainbow. A geometrically interlacing romance of round diamonds flaunts aesthetic clusters made from emeralds, rubies, blue and yellow sapphires and tourmalines with charm. Celebrating all the colour, festivity and pomp in Indian weddings, this set is a vibrant one with a promise to the bride that her life will be filled with colour, hope, and positivity. This beautiful piece is set in 18kt gold with white polish.
